To mark the Stoke on Trent Centenary Year in 2025, members of the local community designed and created a mosaic to represent the history and skills in the city over the last 100 years.
You can view the mosaic from the pavement, but do come into the porch and take a closer look.

See if you can find the barge, pit head winding gear, the spitfire and the coal truck.

The mosaic reflects the activity taking place in the city for the Centenary. Look for the cup and saucer representing the Big Cream Tea Event, the People’s Parade and Kelvin the Kiln.

Children from two local schools, families, members and the local community created an outdoor installation made from 100 kilns.
