A significant number of people give their time and expertise in support of The Hub. In addition to adults we welcome support from some young people who previously attended LeaderLab   Without such volunteers, activities would be severely restricted.

In the year December 2021-2022, volunteers contributed 3011 hours.  Calculated at a rate of £11 per hour, the economic benefit to The Hub and the Local Community is obviously considerable.

The volunteers undertake many different tasks – maintaining the garden, computer instruction, strategic leadership, adult and young people’s training, supporting adults with learning difficulties, escorting people on days out, checking bills, making phone calls and many more day to day activities.

The Trustees of The Hub remain exceptionally grateful for the support that volunteers provide.
