Partnership with Local Colleges

Students from Regent College have completed their work experience at The Hub for several years.  A variety of tasks are undertaken, including gardening, cooking and restocking the tuck shop.

Each student attends for one morning session per week, accompanied by their personal support worker.  On completion of their course at Regent College, two of the students have returned to The Hub on a weekly basis as independent volunteers.

The Hub also offers placements to Social Care students from the Sixth Form College.  Small groups of students attend  to gain confidence and experience in working with adults.  T level students also complete an extended work experience at The Hub.
